The younger brother of President Goodluck Jonathan, Meni Jonathan died at the Aso Rock clinic in Abuja today following a brief illness.
According to Daily Times, Jonathan’s younger brother – who had been battling an undisclosed illness was flown in from Mr. President’s home State, Bayelsa last week Sunday to the Aso Rock Villa medical center for medical treatment.
Sources close to the President stated that Meni was the President’s half brother and/or cousin – and had been head of Otueke council chiefs .
Meni died on the President’s 55th birthday. Meni was aged 45.
